Snack
Remember to bring a healthy snack to eat during break. Middle School students do not each lunch until noon each day, and you will get hungry! I also encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle to keep at your desk.
Lockers
Seventh grade begins the transition from storing materials in desks to the use of lockers. Students in my homeroom will have a bank of lockers outside of the classroom for personal use and storage, although backpacks will be kept inside the classroom. It is important to recognize that students from multiple classes share the desks, and as such I encourage students to store all personal materials in binders, backpacks, or lockers only. Bulky, unnecessary, or valuable belongings would be best left at home.
Technology
Students may bring devices such as cell phones, iPods, and eReaders to and from school, but unless given express permission, devices should not be used or accessed during the school day. Students bringing a cell phone must fill out a Cell Phone contract and turn it in to Ms. Rzegocki or the school office. Students interested in using an eReader at school should fill out an eReader Contract and bring it to Ms. Rzegocki.
